NC Space Grant Brings NASA STEM to North Carolinians

NC Space Grant is committed to supporting and expanding NASA’s and North Carolina’s STEM exposure and engagement. NC Space Grant works collaboratively with partners to provide greater opportunity for all North Carolinians to understand, engage with, and benefit from NASA-related programs. Ultimately, North Carolina benefits from enhanced STEM education through broadened and strengthened academic and career pathways for students and educators across the state.

NC Space Education Ambassadors Program

The NC Space Education Ambassadors (NCSEA) program trains pre-K–12 teachers to inspire students in STEM and deliver NASA educational content in their schools and communities. Each year, up to 15 experienced educators are selected statewide for a year-long professional development program, after which they join a network of ambassadors bringing NASA resources to students across North Carolina.

Resources for STEM Education at Home

NC Space Grant is dedicated to providing information and resources to advance space-related and general STEM education for North Carolinians of all ages. In this unprecedented environment of changing educational norms and methods, we hope to provide useful resources for students, families, and formal and informal educators to utilize to continue learning remotely in the home.
