The Third Annual Swarmathon took place from April 17 to 19, 2018 at NASA Kennedy Space Center. The NASA Swarmathon challenges students to develop cooperative robotics to revolutionize space exploration. Students competed to develop search algorithms for robotic swarms. Swarmathon participation: (1) improves student’s skills in robotics and computer science and (2) furthers advance technology for future NASA space exploration missions.

The team from Durham Technical Community College, The ProgrammBulls, earned the following awards:

  • 1st place in the Physical Competition
  • 1st place for Team Video, shown below
  • 2nd place for their Physical Team Technical Report
