2025 North Carolina Space Symposium

The annual NC Space Symposium is a showcase of student research from across North Carolina.

This day-long event brings together students, academics, NASA representatives, industry professionals, and many others working in space and NASA-related fields. In addition to speaker presentations, student poster presentations and lightning talks will be featured. 

To end the day, students are invited to participate in a workshop to discover effective communication skills for the STEM workforce.

Exploring Earth from Space: North Carolina Space Symposium Emphasizes Importance of Open Science and Student Research

On March 22, North Carolina Space Grant hosted its annual NC Space Symposium at the McKimmon Center in Raleigh. Highlighting open science and exploring Earth from space, the signature event brought together over 200 attendees, with 75 percent being students, from across the state and beyond to learn from one another and celebrate student research.
