The 2023 NC Space Symposium will be held in person at the McKimmon Center on the NC State University campus on April 21, 2023.

Seats are filled for the 2023 NC Space Symposium, and registration is now closed. There will be no on-site registration.
Registration Rates
- Full-time Student (precollege, college) attendee: $35*
- General attendee: $75
*2022-2023 NC Space Grant Fellows, Scholars, Community College Research and NASA/Career Interns will receive complimentary registration. All awardees will be emailed a special discount code to use upon checkout in the registration system.
If you need to cancel your registration, you must email Jobi Cook no later than April 15, 2023. NC Space Grant will retain $15 to cover processing fees.
Location
The NC Space Symposium will be held at NC State University’s McKimmon Conference and Training Center at 1101 Gorman Street, Raleigh, N.C.
As with all large conference facilities, the internal temperature of the McKimmon Center building fluctuates during the day. Please dress in layers and plan accordingly based on your personal needs.
Parking
There is ample free, public parking at the McKimmon Center. Please do not park in spaces indicating that a permit is required. We are not responsible for tickets or towing as a result of improper parking.
The McKimmon Center can be accessed by the NC State Wolfline Bus system and offers space to store a bike for those wishing to use alternative transportation.

The 2023 NC Space Symposium on April 21, 2023 will be an in-person event. NC Space Grant is committed to ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually striving to make our environment accessible and inclusive. In order to accommodate any special requests, please provide at minimum one week notice prior to the event.
Hotels
Please consider staying at a nearby hotel if overnight accommodations are needed. If you are a state employee, ask for the McKimmon Center rate or for the government rate. There is no specific hotel or conference block for the NC Space Symposium.
